Jenny's Shrimp Truck

Ah, the famed Jenny's Shrimp Truck. Though every plate had the freshest tasting shrimp that's naturally sweet and has that perfect snap to the bite, it's in the seasoning where they fell a bit short. The Original Shrimp plate is rather plain, and tastes like simple boiled shrimp. Comes with cocktail sauce. The Butter Garlic Shrimp is a step up from that, though the plate we got was on the saltier side. Spicy Garlic Shrimp was yet another step up, and I would not mind coming back for the spicy variant (though later experiences would prove even this inferior to the real shrimp champions on the island). That's not to say you won't have a good meal with Jenny's! Don't let our picky palate deter you. Jenny's Shrimp is a good bet for a great meal.

I must say that the food at Jenny's Shrimp Truck was absolutely delicious. I had the pleasure of trying their garlic shrimp and rice dish, and it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients used. I wanted to express my gratitude to Jenny's Shrimp Truck for providing such an enjoyable dining experience. It is evident that they take pride in their food and their establishment, and it truly shines through in every aspect. I will definitely be recommending Jenny's Shrimp Truck to all of my friends and colleagues who plan to visit Haleiwa.

We really enjoyed the food here! We thought everything we ordered was tasty! The only reason why I deducted a star is because the shells made it difficult to eat and took away some of the flavor when you peeled them. I wonder if they can make it an option to remove the shells, leave as is, or remove those shells. I think getting your fingers smell like garlic is also the point so I liked them as is but some didn’t. There was a hand sanitizer to get your hands clean. There were roosters that were roaming around which was interesting. The truck staff was not very friendly but that could be because I have been spoiled with very good customer service in Japan. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and would love to try it again!

Great, fresh garlic shrimp. Service not that great but friendly enough for a food truck. They have a few parking spots in the service station next door. They also havel several picnic benches to eat at. Don't think they have restrooms. We got the spicy and regular garlic shrimp. Came with 9 shrimp, rice, salad, and pineapple slice.
